Beckworth & Co. Picnic Table and Basket Review

**Beckworth & Co. reached out to us and sent us these items to review. All opinions are 100% our own.**

This summer we are doing a lot more camping and hiking and general outdoor activities. Now that Lucy is older, it is so much easier to do these kinds of things! When Beckworth & Co. reached out to us to see if we wanted to review some of their products, we jumped at the chance to try out some things that would make our adventures even easier.

Smartflip Standard: Bamboo Portable Folding Picnic Table

One of the items we got sent was this really cool folding picnic table. It has a nice bamboo top, easy hinges to help its folding process, comes in a nice carrying case and has adjustable legs.

Pros:

This table is a great size. It provides a great extra surface when prepping dinner or lunch at a campsite or while on a picnic. It folds very easily; the hinges are super smooth. And the size that it folds into is amazing! One of our favorite features is how little space it takes to store the table when not in use. We also liked the adjustable leg height so that we could make it tall for working at while standing, but it could also be lowered. We thought this would be great if you wanted to use it inside your tent while camping to provide a nightstand sort of area. It would be the perfect place to collect important things like keys, glasses, flashlights, etc.

Cons:

The only con I have is the price. For this basic model that we have, the price is just under $100. And that is just more than we would spend on most equipment for camping and picnicking. It is a really well made table and it is worth the price as long as you have it in your budget to spend that much and it is a strong need or want for your activities.

Foldable Collapsible Insulated Picnic Basket

The second item we received to use and review was an insulated picnic basket. It collapses into a small size, has a 32 liter capacity, comes with solid aluminum handle and frame, and has a handy pocket and closure strap.

Pros:

This is a great picnic basket! We have had a few in the past but this one is far superior to others that we have had. First, one of my favorite things is that when it is collapsed, it folds completely flat; the handle doesn’t stick out and there is a snap strap that you can hook around the folded basket so it doesn’t come undone. It makes storing the basket when not in use SO  easy and convenient. The insulation works quite well. You probably aren’t going to want to use it as a longterm cooler, but for day trips it kept our food nice and cool and protected. Another thing I love about this picnic basket is the convenient zipper pocket on the front. I keep extra ziplock bags, grocery and garbage sacks and extra plasticware inside the pocket when we are using the basket. And I keep the snap strap to close the picnic basket in the pocket as well when the basket is unfolded. And lastly, I love the color of this basket. It says online that it is blue, and when we got it it definitely has a chambray/denim look to it which helps keep it looking nice even when it gets dirty.

Cons:

I don’t have any cons about this picnic basket! Like I mentioned above this is by far the best picnic basket we have ever had. If you’re in the market for one, I definitely recommend the Beckworth & Co. option!

Sum Up:

The picnic table is such a cool item! It is so handy while camping or picnicking and I absolutely love how small it is to store. But it comes with a big price tag. The picnic basket on the other hand is very reasonably priced and is by far the best picnic basket we have ever used. I highly recommend it for anyone who camps, hikes, picnics or takes lots of day trips and adventures.
