3 Things to See at Bicentennial Park Nashville

While we were in Nashville we were on the lookout for a good place to take Lucy where she could play, get some wiggles out and be out of her stroller. We researched ahead of time and Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park in Nashville seemed like a great place to take her.

The park is quite large and has a few different areas with lots of things to see and do. In this post, I’m going to tell you about the top 3 things not to miss when you visit Bicentennial Park.

1. Rivers of Tennessee Fountain

Probably one of the main attractions at Bicentennial Park in Nashville is the Rivers of Tennessee Fountain. It is basically a large splash pad that looks nice. Lucy loved sticking her toes in it and so did lots of other kids. During the summer time it can be quite crowded but it is a fun spot for your kids to play and cool off and it’s free!

2. Tennessee State Map

Located right behind the fountain is a HUGE map of the state of Tennessee. It is really fun to walk around and on and get an interesting perspective of the lay of the land.

3. Farmers Market

During the summer months there is a farmers market stand just on the edge of Bicentennial Park. There are lots of vendors with everything from produce, to crafts, to food and drinks. We didn’t spend much time here because of the hours we were at Bicentennial Park but it looked like it was the place to be!
