Top 5 Things at the Mall of America

We have been to Minnesota multiple times and almost every time we go, we make a stop at the Mall of America. With hundreds of stores and over 40 million visitors annually it is definitely one of the top tourist sights in the Twin Cities.

And while you could spend all day there (even multiple days!) Below is a list of some of our favorite stops in the Mall of America.

Mall of America Lego store

1. The LEGO Store

THe LEGO Store is a great stop of anyone. Even if you don’t go inside the store, make sure to stop and look at the amazing LEGO creations that surround the store on multiple levels! Looking for something for the kids to do? There are LEGO and Duplo tables outside of the store that are just for kids to create.

2. The American Girl Store

Relieve your childhood (and create memories for your own child!) by going into The American Girl Store. This is one of my favorite stores just to browse and remember all the fun times I spent playing with my own American Girl doll. I had Kirsten in case you were wondering 😉

3. Alpaca Connection

This store is just cool! Everything is made out of warm, soft alpaca fur which is perfect for those cold Minnesota days!

4. Nickelodeon Universe

Yes, the Mall of America is so big it has it’s own theme park! The rides are not the biggest and scariest rides in the world. But they are pretty fun. And it’s a fun way to spend part of your day in the Mall of America.

5. Moose Mountain Adventure Golf

This is one of the most fun mini golf courses I have ever seen. Again, it’s a great way to do something besides shopping when you’re at the Mall of America.

Bonus Selections:

THe Mall of America has it’s osn Aquarium too! The Sea Life Minnesota Aquarium. We haven’t been to this aquarium but I have heard that it is wonderful and really fun. Something that I want to do when our daughter is a little bit older is take her to the Crayola Experience which is also at the Mall of America.
