Review: Carseat Head Support from Sweet Carol Designs

We travel a lot and we spend a lot of time in the car. Thankfully for us Lucy is a pretty good traveler, especially in the car and she often falls asleep. But we noticed that as she would fall asleep her head would bob up and down at uncomfortable looking angles. So we went on the search for something that could help support her head during her car trip naps. We came across Sweet Carol Designs on Etsy and they sent us one of their Carseat Head Supports to try out for Lucy.

Sweet Carol Designs is a mother and daughter team. Jayme is the daughter who takes orders, responds to emails and takes care of the business stuff while her mom is the one who assembles and sews each head support.

They are made with soft minky fabric that feels so snuggly and comfy and wide elastic with a good stretch. You simply place the fabric part across the carseat where your child’s head is and then velcro it around the back of the carseat to keep it in place.

We have used it a lot over the last couple months and have loved how it supports Lucy’s head while she is sleeping. It is very soft and never leaves marks on her skin. When she’s awake, she also enjoys playing with the strap as a toy! Her head does sometimes slip out of it and she doesn’t like it on her head when she wakes up, but it does its job while she is sleeping.

So if you’re looking for a good way to help support your child’s head and neck while they are sleeping, especially for long road trips, make sure to check out Sweet Carol Designs on Etsy.
