Natural Bridges is a small National Monument in southeast Utah. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere with not many services or stores nearby. If you’re wanting to go to Natural Bridges, camping is a great option!
Campsite Information
There are 13 campsites located at Natural Bridges. All of the campsites are first-come first-served. They do not take any reservations. Luckily, Natural Bridges is not a very popular National Monument to visit. We were able to get a campsite without any problems. But if you are worried about getting a site, I would suggest getting there on a Monday-Thursday. The weekends, Friday-Sunday, seem to be more popular times and it may be harder to get a campsite. When we went, we got there on a Thursday and stayed Thursday night and Friday night without any problems. If you can only make it to Natural Bridges on a weekend, I would suggest getting to Natural Bridges right at check-out time which is usually around 10:00 or 11:00 (but you can call the visitor center and see what time check-out time is).
Each campsite has a tent pad, fire grill and picnic table. There are nice driveways for RVs or trailers. Each campsite is fairly large and has a good amount of space. There is no running water at the campsite, but the campsite is located right next to the visitor center which has running water and nicer restrooms.
Campsites at Natural Bridges are $15 per-night. Each site can have up to 8 people and 1 vehicle.

Perks of Camping at Natural Bridges
There are quite a few perks of camping at Natural Bridges!
First, you are SO CLOSE to the National Monument. You are super close to the Visitor’s Center and really close to the main loop where all of the hikes are. You can get going on your adventure right away instead of spending the first hour (or more!) driving to the National Monument.
Second, you get to experience Natural Bridges at night. Because Natural Bridges National Monument isn’t really close to any towns or city most people leave the park fairly early so they aren’t driving a long way when they are tired. Natural Bridges has some amazing night skies to see because there is no light pollution. Also when we were there, Ben saw the best sunset he has ever seen in his entire life.
Third, camping is so inexpensive! We did a whole podcast episode about camping and we talked about how camping is a great way for families to travel because it is not expensive at all. In that episode we talked about some ways you can get gear for cheap or free if you are just getting into camping.
